I’ve been remiss keeping my blog area up, and SO MUCH has happened in the last while.
Biggest of the news bulletins in the National Creditors Bar Association is hosting their Spring Conference, and we are quite proud to be there. Our last time at a Conference was a dental conference nearly 5 years ago in Washington, DC. This is our first conference as exhibitors since committing to our business and our clients for StudioHOF as a full time enterprise, not a side business with full time employees, but a full time full service digital agency.
It’s good to be back doing events – but we have to start from scratch! For the dentists conference – we had a table top display, totally appropriate for an intimate small event. In Austin at the National Creditors’ Bar Association Spring event, we are expecting 750 attorneys. This is not “tabletop” deal!
So, we’ve got a new booth for the event, and are working on banners and signs and brochures. We’ll post our progress online so that you can follow along with us.
Many might ask, WHY ON EARTH would we be doing the National Creditors Bar Association – why travel to Austin Texas to be in front of a group of debt collection attorneys?
Well, as we have been redefining our business, it turns out that nearly a third of our clients are in the debt collection industry. All but one of them rank very well on Google. The one exception, Taroff Taitz, LLP in Long Island NY, are a recently launched client, and getting a law office to number one on Google takes time. However, they are still growing (last month at over 50% a month in traffic, and consistently at double digits every month this year.
So, if we have an emerging specialty in Creditors’ Rights attorneys, it’s time that we own that space! One of our most successful clients’ shareholders, Gil Singer of Marcadis Singer, PA and I had lunch a few weeks ago, and he gave me the low down on the industry associations serving their corner of the legal market. NCBA has been around for 25 years (this is their anniversary Event). We have also had opportunity to speak for the CLLA when their event was here in Tampa, and to write an article for the CLLA’s Technology edition of their newsletter. I’ll touch on that another time.
