Today is National Bring Your Dog To Work Day.
Nothing gets more facebook likes than dog pictures (well maybe cats do…).
May I suggest to those of you that are Search or Social members, that you encourage your employees to share a picture of their dog on the business facebook page?

USE THE BUSINESS FACEBOOK PAGE – NOT THE PERSONAL PAGE
Here’s what this does. It has someone other than you or website bog engine posting to the business page – that is good for search weight. The picture they (your employees) post will also appear in their personal feed for all their friends to see. People WILL LIKE the picture (probably on the employees feed, but also some on your facebook page). That shows social engagement with posts on your site – which drives even more search weight.
Search and Social are deeply intertwined – this stuff all gives incremental lift. This will be fun for staff, but it’s not about fun, and not about cute – those are byproducts. It’s about getting the attention of Google Search to drive more business to your business.
