WordPress Security Update

To all our WordPress clients.

WordPress  (which was used for almost everyone of our clients’ websites) has just released a security update, 4.4.2.

WordPress versions 4.4.1 and earlier are affected by two security issues: a possible XSS for certain local URIs, and an open redirection attack.

All sites are in the process of being updated, and everyone should be updated by tonight.

Our theme builder has also had a recent update, however, if you have access to the backend of your site, please do NOT update the theme, even though your dashboard says there is an update.  There have been more than a few people reporting issues with the new theme update, and we’d like to test it a bit harder before we actually put out the update.
