SSL – Secure Sockets Layer becoming a MUST
The time is at hand. In 2015, I called out to our clients that SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) or encrypting your website, was going to be given search lift by Google. Now we are seeing the next evolution – If you are Not secure, your site will see a penalty, in fact, you will probably see a big ugly screen put up by Chrome warning you that this site is NOT SECURE. How’s that to scare away your clients!

At the moment, we will acquire and install an SSL certificate for our clients for around $100 (per year). We are investigating the cost to make a whole server certificate to try to save you some money.
Stay tuned, we will have notice in your email regarding adding SSL to your site. This is a MUST. Some of our clients already have SSL, and need not worry.
To find out if you have SSL, try typing in your address as https://www.mydomain.com where mydomain is the name of your website.
